I am once again surprised by the low rating of such a cool Samsung Wave game, which is Amazing Maze.

When it comes to smartphones, the games must be different from regular J2Me apps, and that’s not only in regards to graphics, but also functionality. For example, racing games must have more realism, more cars, more camera views, etc.. But this is a simple marbles game. How on earth can you extend such a simple game?

The developers, M-GaTE, thought the obvious – allow you to extend the game, by creative levels. There is a simple levels’ maker within the game, which you can use to insert walls, holes, or the target. Quite intuitive.

As there are no navigation keys on this touchscreen smartphone, you must use the motion sensor (accelerometer) to indicate your moves, and the marble slides as if there was gravity inside the game table. Not new at all, but this particular game features holes which must be avoided, walls which enclose and challenge the gamer into a maze, and of course, the target which must be reached.
