Samsung S8500 Wave Bada Game: Cut ‘em All
I’m very impressed by the Samsung Bada developers community, Cut ‘em All is yet another addictive logic-fun Samsung Wave game added to the repository.
I spoke in the other Bada game review about how new developer tools and SDKs often come with physics engines ready-made so that the programmer only has to plan the game itself and have fun with the built-in environment. Although I’m not sure whether Nguyen Huu Phuoc – the maker of this wonderful game – actually wrote his own engine or “borrowed” someone else’s, it’s extremely addictive nevertheless.
The objective of Cut ‘em All is to strategically cut lines holding a square, or to cut platforms where the square is sitting on, so that this same square falls exactly on another platform which sits at the bottom of the screen. Sounds easy? Don’t get too happy, it will soon eat your head – just get to level 5, trust me!
There are other moving objects besides the swinging cube, such as fans, etc., that make the game even more challenging, especially as these aren’t that predictable.
So go ahead, play the game, and let me know what you think about it, below in the comments!
