Samsung S8500 Wave Bada Theme: Gnome Carbon
We’ve received many comments of people who are sick of Samsung Wave games, so we decided to throw in some Bada themes instead.
Obviously, not every game we review offers tons of fun. We review them to comment on what’s bad and what’s good, and lately, we reviewed games for the past two or three weeks alone. Our last theme review was long before the Samsung Wave theme maker was launched, but now that there’s a huge variety of decorative themes for the smartphone, it’s time to go back.
The theme in question is Gnome Carbon. It’s free, and as expected, has a really dark, yet sleek look. The Samsung S8500 itself is black, so the theme should fit it perfectly. But it doesn’t.
I’m not the only one who noticed that the Wave has one of the best touchscreen displays in the market, extremely vivid, practically making colours bleed. This is good…if you have colours in your theme. The Carbon theme is pretty much greyscale, based on white, black and tons of these two colours.
I’m not saying that the theme is bad at all, it might suit some, but I’d prefer to see more lively themes.
